Your First Visit
Step One
Your first visit is a fact-finding mission. The more information we gather the more specific we can be about how to approach your health concerns. We go about this by using digital infrared thermography which measures skin temperature and lets us know which nerves are working and which nerves are not working. This is the most important part of our exam. This is the basis on which we decide when and where to adjust and also lets us know how you are progressing during care.
Step Two
The next part of your examination is the structural evaluation and body balance assessment. This is where we are really looking at how you are carrying yourself and what your posture looks like. How is the head tilted? Are the shoulders are balanced. Is your pelvis balanced? This is going to give us insight into how your structure is being affected and therefore how it is affecting your function.
Step Three
We are also going to do a bilateral weight scale assessment that is going to allow us to see how much weight you’re putting on one side versus the other. It’s also going to give us a starting point to evaluate along the way how much you are improving as we start to realign the system and allow it to balance out.
Step Four
The last step in our exam is to take digital motion x-rays. This lets us see exactly what’s moving, what’s not moving, what’s working, and what’s not working. This allows us to create a tailor-made adjustment that’s specific to you.
Your Second Visit
On your second visit to the office, Dr. Marcone will share the results of your first-day exam and go over care recommendations and investment in your health.
Our practice members love our attention to detail and our scientifically proven and research-based approach we use to help them get back to the great quality of life they deserve.
